The industry charity helps us all “look after our own” – supporting past and present employees, and their families, of the home enhancement industry since 1843.
We care for people who have dedicated their life to DIY, hardware, housewares, pottery & glass or garden retail businesses including manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers and who find themselves in need of financial support.
We are here to help – we are your rainy day support for the times in life when things just aren’t going according to plan.
We can assist with:
- The payment of utility bills
- Esential household maintenance
- Mobility equipment and installations
- Travel expenses to see distant relatives
- Nursing home or residential care fees
- Food hampers/supermarket vouchers at Christmas
Many of our beneficiaries receive one-off grants to assist with specific unforeseen vehicle or property expenses. It could be something minor such as assistance with paying for repairs, or even a TV licence fee that you just can’t currently afford. Some of our more physically impaired beneficiaries receive a modest Annual Award which they can use towards the cost of healthcare expenses, such as mobility installations or payment of carers.

We are your own personal charity, so providing that you have worked in either the home improvement or home enhancement industry for FIVE years, and your circumstances qualify for support, we can offer you that little or big helping hand that you need!
