BHETA Credit Forums
The BHETA Credit Forums are there to help you predict business risks and avoid those decisions that result in bad debt or prolonged collection cycles.
BHETA Credit Forums are run in conjunction with Experian and Acumen Credit Insurance Brokers (formally Reynolds Trade Credit). They are aimed at credit and finance professionals and are workshop and discussion based rather than lecture pased presentations.
Prospective members are invited to attend their first meeting FREE OF CHARGE. If you are interested in attending or would like further information on Credit Forums please contact BHETA Member Services.
What our members say
“The amount of information gained on mutual customers has been invaluable and put to very good use. The Forum was excellent. It was presented in a professional, interesting, informative way and as a company, we can highly recommend attendance to the Credit Forums” – J.Lenthall – Amefa UK Ltd
“The BHETA credit forum is always impeccably organised, with industry experts available for comments at all times. The frequency and duration of the meetings is just right – 3 per annum, and allows for a mix of subjects to be presented around the core area of commercial credit control. The ability to establish a strong feedback loop from similarly placed suppliers is invaluable in making key credit decisions. Well worth the investment!”– J.Dowdeswell – Simplehuman UK Ltd
“The BHETA Credit Forum enables you to share information and experiences regarding your debtors and gives you the opportunity to meet with guest speakers and benefit from their expertise. Sharing your credit control frustrations and experiences with professionals within your own career sector enables you to gain knowledge and apply a different approach when trying to secure payment. A very friendly and relaxed atmosphere – I thoroughly enjoy it!” – Sharron Smout – Eliza Tinsley Ltd
“I have found the workshops to be useful and informative covering a number of topics chosen by the membership, for example recently I have been able to discuss the changes in PDD discounts / VAT. Networking between meetings can also be invaluable as part of a new account vetting process.”Debbie Carroll, Credit Manager, Groupe SEB.
“Sharing information & ideas can help with avoiding/minimising problems with customers, and assist finding solutions – round the table or using the on-line forum. Guest speakers are knowledgeable and interesting.” Christine Ballard, Credit Controller, HoMedics Group Limited.
“For the past seven years I have attended the credit forums. I find it really valuable being able to draw on fellow members experience of credit issues in our sector. The forum can be a very important source of facts, to enable me to manage credit risk effectively.” Richard Tucker, Addis.
