BHETA runs 5th ‘Meet the Buyer’ event with Screwfix

Following the success of four earlier ‘Meet the Buyer’ initiatives with Screwfix, The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) is running yet another Screwfix ‘Innovation Day’ on October 22.

As was the case at the previous Innovation Days, the whole Screwfix buying team will be present and suppliers have the extra incentive of a potential six month online trial listing in a dedicated area of the 1.2 million hits per week Screwfix website for products that impress on the day. With an excellent track record of new online and catalogue listings from earlier events, the second 2015 BHETA / Screwfix Innovation Day will again be a great opportunity to present innovations in product development, packaging or promotional activity. The emphasis is absolutely on innovation and the Screwfix team is particularly looking for eco developments in products or packaging.

All companies attending will be allocated a 20 minute appointment and a maximum of two people from each company will be allowed to attend. The latest event takes place at The Conference Centre, Yeovil Town Football Club, Huish Park Stadium, Lufton Way, Yeovil. Companies selected for the online trial will need to fund a set up cost of £500 per product and companies wishing to participate will be referred to representatives from Screwfix Quality, Supply Chain and Administration teams on the day to speed up the listing process.

Applicants for the BHETA / Screwfix day will be allocated appointments on a first come – first served basis. Each will need to fill in a form obtainable from BHETA member services, indicating the preferred buyer(s) to meet.
