BHETA is very pleased to introduce Tracy Sutton and Sarahjane Widdowson from Root to present a webinar for BHETA members on Monday 9th September at 1pm called, “Getting to the Root of Packaging Regulation”.
Root is a new BHETA business support provider who will provide regular packaging updates throughout the remainder of 2024.
Tracy and Sarah will talk for around 20 minutes and then take questions.
Root’s expert team will join up the dots to help you understand regulatory pressures on packaging and to help you anticipate future demands.
Agenda:
- An actionable summary of the global policy landscape including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Plastics Taxes, and the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulations
- How your business can adapt to the new landscape and use it as a USP
- Examples of other businesses which have started to adapt
Who is the webinar suitable for?
The event is for BHETA members who have an interest in packaging, packaging strategy and implementation, across DIY, Garden, Housewares & Electrical. Non-members who are interested in experiencing a BHETA event and are thinking of joining the association are also welcome to register for a ‘taster session’, on the condition they are happy to have a membership chat with the relevant sector manager.
