BHETA Small Electricals Committee meeting 9th October

BHETA’s Small Electrical Accessories (SEA) Committee met this week to discuss issues and opportunities for the small electricals sector and to devise plans to support members, and drive forward BHETA’s activities. It was a very positive meeting and thank you to all the attendees for your contribution.

Also in attendance remotely were Angela Barbey, Steve Punter, Rob Sutton and Ben Wilkinson.

BHETA has five specialist committees comprising senior representatives from leading member companies who meet regularly. The role of the SEA committee is to represent and protect members’ interests, assisting with their commercial success and adding value to their businesses.

During the meeting, the group discussed the following topics:
– Market conditions & operating challenges
– Environmental, Operational and Safety issues
– Lobbying on factors impacting the industry
– Net Zero and carbon reduction
– BHETA activity plan
