BHETA will be hosting a Meet the Buyer event with John Lewis & Partners on Tuesday, 13th May at the Hilton London Watford (Elton Way, Watford, London WD25 8HA). Secure your space to showcase your products in front of buyers from one of the UK’s most prestigious department store retailers.

This exclusive event is a fantastic opportunity for suppliers to connect with key buyers. Whether you’re looking to introduce your products to new markets or strengthen existing relationships, the John Lewis Meet the Buyer Day offers unparalleled access to influential decision-makers in the retail industry.

Registrations are open for suppliers offering products in the following categories:

Cookshop:

  • Cook & bakeware
  • Picnic
  • Food prep & gadgets
  • Knifes
  • Barware including wine racks
  • Kitchen textiles
  • Food on the go including back to school/off to uni
  • Food storage including freezer and fridge storage
  • Kitchenware collections
  • Kitchen/cooking gifting

Utility & Bathshop:

  • Natural basketry and storage – handicraft product with back story/heritage
  • Ironing boards
  • Clothes airers
  • Mid-premium clothescare products i.e. natural mothproofing, drawer liners, cedar products
  • Premium cleaning products
  • Natural cleaning products

Useful information

  • Each supplier can bring two people and will be allocated a 20-minute appointment with their relevant buyer. Suppliers are able to book additional appointments if they have products relevant for other categories.
  • You will be allocated a specific meeting time with your relevant buyer; it is recommended that you arrive at the venue 10 minutes prior to your allocated appointment.

What are the associated costs?

Member rate:  £89.00+VAT
Non-member rate:  £199.00+VAT, if it’s your first BHETA Meet the Buyer event
Non-member rate:  £249.00+VAT, if you have attended a prior BHETA Meet the Buyer event

All registrations are subject to approval by John Lewis & Partners. Your appointment will be confirmed by the BHETA team.

Booking terms:

  • In the event of over-subscription, BHETA member places will be allocated on a first come first served basis per buyer
  • Participation in BHETA’s ‘Meet the Buyer’ events is solely for UK suppliers, manufacturers and distributor
  • Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged in full
