The UK Net Zero Business Census

techUK is partnering with the UK Net Zero Business Census to try and get as many businesses as possible to share their net zero aims.

This  census aims to establish a definitive benchmark for the private sector’s contribution to the UK’s national 2050 net zero target. By completing the survey, you will contribute to an annual research initiative that provides unparalleled insights to policymakers, investors, and business leaders on our nation’s journey towards net zero. We are supporting this Census in partnership with UK Business Climate Hub and Planet Mark along with a coalition of business associations, media outlets and large corporates.

Why should firms participate?

  • To make an impact – Share your business’s plans for net zero, or if you’ve not started yet, contribute clearer understanding of where more support is needed to overcome the challenges.
  • Shape policies – The data collected from this census will inform policy and investment decisions necessary to secure business success as we transition to net zero by 2050.
  • Lead by example – Your participation in the census will inspire other businesses to take action. Together, we can drive positive change, create a more sustainable future and achieve net zero.
  • Tech is crucial – We need tech to be at the table on net zero discussions, and it would be strange not to have leading tech firms taking part.

Please contribute to the Census by 30th June 2024 to help us gather the largest ever dataset on UK industry progress on net zero.

It is open to all UK-based businesses of any size or industry and we appreciate your time and contribution to this important initiative, and please feel free to share this with your networks.
