New RoHS exemptions guidance for electrical suppliers

 

The Government has published new guidance on how to apply for an exemption to use a restricted substance provided it meets certain criteria.

If you manufacture, import or distribute electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) for the Great Britain market you’re responsible for ensuring that levels of certain hazardous substances and chemicals are not exceeded.

The new guidance, published on 16th February, sets out how to apply for a new exemption to use a restricted substance provided it meets certain criteria.
