Primark is set to expand its homeware offering with the launch of its first-ever standalone Primark Home store, opening in Belfast city centre on 6 March.
Located in Fountain House, just over 100 yards from the retailer’s flagship Bank Buildings store, the 8,700 sq. ft. retail space will feature an extensive selection of home essentials, including bedding, towels, ceramics, and small furniture pieces.
The introduction of a dedicated homeware store allows Primark to reimagine its flagship location, with plans to expand the kids’ section at Bank Buildings and relocate its menswear department to a new dedicated space on the top floor.
Fintan Costello, Head of Primark Ireland and Northern Ireland, shared his excitement about the new retail concept:
“This is a big moment for the Primark brand and a significant milestone for Belfast as we prepare to welcome customers to our first-ever standalone Primark Home store.
“Primark and Belfast share a rich history, and we are incredibly proud to introduce this new shopping experience here first. Just as our fashion collections help customers create stylish wardrobes, Primark Home will offer a wider range of quality homeware and lifestyle products to help them craft standout interiors.”
The Belfast opening marks the second new concept launch for Primark in recent months, following the debut of its small-format store in Montijo, Portugal, in November. The expansion underscores the retailer’s commitment to diversifying its product offering and enhancing the shopping experience for home and lifestyle enthusiasts.
